Class Descriptions:
Early Riser Yoga
Imagine starting your day with a clear
mind, even breath, and balanced body. Practicing yoga in the early
morning while the mind is clear can assist you in putting mundane
issues into perspective and staying calm and grounded throughout your
day. Early Riser Yoga sets the tone for a peaceful day.
Power Flow Yoga
Power Flow Yoga is a fast-paced class with
poses that encourage alignment, flexibility, balance, strength, and
cardiovascular endurance. This rigorous workout involves constant
movement, and promises to make you sweat! This class is open to all
levels, whether you are a beginner or a life-long yogi.
Yoga for Fitness
This class is designed to improve the health,
performance and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in
improving their fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of hatha
yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness
format. It is truly a user friendly class which is accessible,
understandable and doable by individuals at any level of fitness.
Zen Fusion Yoga
This is a yoga class that is for all levels.
The class is a combination of dynamic and passive deep stretching to
open the body, mind and spirit. The class concludes with a short
guided mediation bringing each participant into balance before they
leave the class and transition back into the real world. Participants
will need to bring a yoga mat and other props if they have them but
they are not necessary.
Men's Yoga Class
This class focuses not only on deep
stretching, but also building strength within the body. Each class is
designed to push the practitioner into reach their maximum potential.
The classes focus on yoga asana work, core strengthening, balance, and
mediation and relaxation. This class is geared to cater to an all male
crowd to give the practitioner a taste of what yoga can do to improve
the mind, the body and the spirit.
Zen Fusion AikiJujitsu
This is a class that blends traditional
art form with practical self defense. You will not only learn how to
execute proper form, but you will also receive a great work out. This
class is for all levels. Students can either come in for a per/class
basis or you can sign up for the belt ranking system to earn various
levels of mastery in this martial art form. Ages 10 and up for the
adult class. There is a kids class on sunday for ages 5-10.
Kids Yoga
This is a great class that gets kids involved in the
art of yoga. Flexibility, stretching, fitness and tons of fun. The
class is for children ages 4-15.
Women's Spirituality Group- Great
way to connect with others in open discussion about all areas of
spiritualy. The class will focus on various topics, start and end with
a meditation, and there will be snacks. This is a free class, and runs
in conjunction with a kids class on Sundays to give Mom a break and a
chance to connect with other women.
Men's Spirituality Group
This is a great way to connect and
share ideas, opionions, and thoughts for the purpose of growing
community. We begin and end each class with a meditation and then
share some snacks after the class. It is a free class, so come on out
and share!
Morning meditation
Each day seems to be filled with various
levels of chaos. This class is designed to help you enter your day,
and to face any challenge with a sense of peace and understanding. The
class is music and guided meditation based. Even if you've never
thought you could quite the mind for more than a few moments, this
class if for you. All levels are welcome to attend.
